Dr. Worawat Nakawiro
Energy Efficiency and Load Forecast Expert

At ACE Partners, Dr. Worawat is responsible for EV load forecast techniques, assessing potential distribution grid impacts, and developing mitigation strategies for The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) in Thailand. He also leads solar PV potential assessments for the industrial and residential sectors, conducting pre-feasibility studies for renewable projects in Thailand.

Prior to joining ACE Partners, he actively contributed to deep technical and industry-based projects, developing intelligent planning and control algorithms to integrate renewables and energy storage into power grids, accumulating over 10 years of experience in academic and R&D institutions. He successfully led research investigating the feasibility of hybrid hydro-solar-battery systems for Thailand's national utility from The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). He also had 3 years of experience in private sector, as a business strategy officer for leading Thai energy company and as a power grid expert consultant for a world-leading technology company.

Dr. Worawat received his Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, fully sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD. He obtained a Master of Engineering in Energy with specialization in Electric Power System Management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Thammasat university, Thailand.
